It rained for a full week!! I was glad to have held my nerve and kept watering from the tank --the tank filled in less than an hour (nearly 10,000 litres!!) ----but the mound took several days before it became wet inside. But everything became too wet ------the new zucchinis became water-logged and developed a soggy spot at the end then collapsed -sounds like 'blossom rot'. I picked all the rotten ones and new flowers are already developing.
The capsicums are thriving -the long yellow ones and the little green bells are very tasty.
The citrus trees that were pruned in October have sent up shoots from the rootstock! Will remove them and hope the trees get the message!
